Korean Sports Association hosts event ahead of the 23rd Korean American National Sports Festival in Dallas
The Colorado Korean Sports Association is set to host a “Send-Off and Supporters’ Night” on Sunday, June 1 at 4:00 PM at 2nd Home Community to support the state delegation participating in the 23rd Korean American National Sports Festival (KANSF), scheduled for June 20–22 in Dallas, Texas.
This biennial nationwide event is the largest sports gathering for Korean Americans, drawing athletes from across the United States to compete, connect, and celebrate their shared identity. Colorado will send athletes to participate in multiple disciplines, with preparations now in full swing.
The event will begin with an official send-off ceremony for the athletes, followed by dinner, cultural performances, and a raffle event. Organizers expect attendance from community leaders, sponsors, Korean American organizations, and families of the athletes.
“This festival is more than just a sports competition,” said Chanyong Um, president of the Colorado Korean Sports Association. “It’s a platform for Korean Americans to unite, support one another, and reaffirm our identity as a strong community.”
All funds raised during the evening will directly support team expenses—including travel, accommodation, meals, and uniforms. The Association has pledged full transparency, with all financial details to be disclosed after the event.
