미국 뉴욕 지하철 총격 사건의 용의자인 프랭크 제임스(61세, Frank Robert James)가 붙잡혔다.
뉴욕 경찰(NYPD) 시웰국장은 트위터를 통해 용의자를 체포하여 뉴욕 경찰서에 구금하고 있다고 전하며, 순찰대원들의 노고에 감사를 표현했다.
뉴욕 경찰은 4월 12일 출근 시간에 지하철 N 노선 열차에서 연막탄을 터뜨린 뒤 총을 난사해 20여 명을 다치게 한 제임스에게 현상금 5만 달러를 내걸었다.
