Each year, the local breweries in Colorado bring unique and secret recipe for Christmas ale and the bottles feature colorful Christmas vibe. From holiday milk stouts to winter IPAs to ciders and everything in between, this year will be one of the most dynamic years for the Coloradans to enjoy local beers because the market is flourishing with new holiday drinks for everyone! Among so many local breweries, we have prepared the first series to look and dive into our Coloradan local beers.

◦ Odd13 Brewing’s Codename Holidayfan
Odd13 brewery is a local Coloradan brewery located at 301 East Simpson Street in old-town Lafayette. Founded by a couple and with support of their family members, Odd13 has been producing food and beers with characters. In other words, they are very well-known for offering unique craft beers, food trucks and live music in their outdoor space.
This holiday season, they have introduced their Codename Holidayfan, brewed with powerfully flavored Citra, Simcoe and Eukuanot hops. It is a triple IPA, coming in at 10% ABV. ◦ New Belgium Brewing Company’s Holiday Ale
New Belgium Brewing Company is very familiar to most Americans since it is a nationally distributed brewery in the United States. The brand produces Fat Tire Amber Ale, Voodoo Ranger IPA and La Folie Sour Brown Ale, among other regular and seasonal beer varieties.
This holiday season, New Belgium features a new winter seasonal for 2022 called Holiday Ale. It offers “festive aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg followed by fruity flavors of orange, cranberry and a pinch of brown suger,” according to the Fort Collins brewery. Holiday Ale comes in at 7.5% ABV and it is available in six packs. ◦ Upslope Brewing Company’s Wild Chirstmas Ale
Founded in 2008, Upslope Brewing Company is another popular brewery around the United States. Operating two breweries both in Boulder, Upslope creates a linup of quality craft beers that taste as good poured from a tap as they do pulled out of a fishing vest. From bold India Pale Ale to Floral Citra Pale Ale, Upslope’s beers have been widely loved by many Coloradans.
This holiday season, they introduced the limited release of their Wild Chirstmas Ale, which is soured with wild yeast and infused with various fruits and spices each year. According to Upslope Brewing, they aged it on Brazillian amburana wood to give it notes of vanilla and gingerbread.
