BB.Q Chicken Landing on Colorado

“Bulgogi and kimchi is becoming an old story. Move over to the new taste of Korean fried chicken!”

Korean fried chicken is more focused on making the outer layer crispy compared to Japan’s karaage or China’s kkanpunggi, which are largely focused on the meat itself. In other words, a higher level of carbohydrates like flour and starch in the batter makes Korean chicken taste sweeter. Moreover, Korean dramas such as “Squid Game” or “Crush Landing on You” have spread the word about Korean fried chicken throughout America. Boosters say that Korean fried chicken is crispier than other types and has a greater variety of flavors, such as honey garlic and soy sauce.

Among various Korean fried chicken franchises, BB.Q Chicken is definitely one of the hottest brands that many nationalities recognize instantly. Many Coloradans are already very excited about BB.Q Chicken’s upcoming soft opening at Village on the Park located in the city of Aurora. Their soft opening is scheduled for March 23rd. Not only in Aurora, BB.Q Chicken is preparing its opening in Denver, Englewood and Littleton as well – which is a fabulous news to Korean fried chicken lovers all over Colorado.

First of all, the name BB.Q does not refer to barbeque – instead, it stands for “Best of the Best Quality,” the company says. BB.Q Chicken is well known for deep frying its chicken to achieve high-quality and healthy chicken. Their unique recipe creates BB.Q Chicken’s lighter and crispier texture. BB.Q Chicken’s top seller is the Golden Original available as a whole chicken, wings, boneless and the most popular sauced option among their fans is the Secret Spicy, described variously as tangy, with a hint of spice, and sweet, fruity, spicy and sour, with a punch of garlicky goodness.

Moreover, BB.Q Chicken’s secret is known to be double curing. Curing is the addition to meats of some combination of salt, sugar and nitrate for the purposes of preservation, flavor and color. BB.Q Chicken currently runs around 3,500 stores in 57 countries and is ranked 5th in a survey of the 25 fastest-growing restaurant chains in America last year. The ranking, conducted and published by Nation’s Restaurant News, was based on on-year growth of a number of new stores that opened in the U.S. last year. BB.Q Chicken’s upcoming soft opening is scheduled for March 23rd and its first location in Colorado would be 2495 S Havana St Unit #H, Aurora, CO 80014. We will comeback with some more stories after their opening and fried chicken lovers’ reaction from Coloradans!
