After approximately 2 years of K-pop concert drought due to COVID-19, it seems like 2022 is the year the genre returns to the stage. Fresh from the release of their sophomore album Apocalypse : Save Us, the K-pop group ‘Dreamcatcher‘ has announced that they will be coming to Denver on a World Tour that kicks off in the United States at the end of this June. Dreamcatcher will be touring across 9 cities including Denver, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Louisville and more.

Marking their second tour in the US since late 2019, Dreamcatcher – JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon – returns to North America with their new album. The first night of the tour kicks off on June 28th at the Palladium Theater in the heart of New York’s Times Square, and ends at The Wiltern in downtown Los Angeles. For the upcoming concert in Denver at the Fillmore Auditorium which is scheduled to start at 6pm, the tickets are selling out very fast.

Earlier this month, Dreamcatcher released their 2nd album, Apocalypse : Save Us, with the title track ‘MAISON’ with a graphics-heavy music video. Fans loved it. The rock-fuelled song debuted at #1 on the Bugs real-time chart as a comercial success. Their first-ever world tour was ‘Fly High’, which saw the seven-piece performing in several cities across Japan, Brizil and Europe from late 2017 to early 2018.

The Colorado Kpopper also shared that they will be hosting a Kpop cupsleeve event for Dreamcatcher who will be performing in Denver July 12th. According to Sage Sharkey, the creator of The Colorado Kpopper for Kpop fans throughout Colorado, Dreamcatcher will be the first Kpop girl group to come to Denver. The Colorado Kpopper will be celebrating them at Colorado Tea Station located in downtown Denver on June 11th, a day prior to the show. There will be cupsleeves, freebies, and a fun photo station as well as a special drink. Sage will also be collecting donations to an environmental charity in the group’s name.
