Denver’s coffee culture is growing every single day, from the coffee drinkers to the coffee roasters to the neighborhood coffee shops. Many of the city’s best coffee hangouts are not just all about caffeine, but also simultaneously enjoying the city view and having a good chillaxing time with your loved ones.
Last week, in the heart of city of Aurora, a new coffee place called Wake&Take coffee shop finally had the Grand Opening. Wake&Take Coffee is a bright, modern and chic coffeehouse that just recently opened in the East Iliff Avenue in the city of Aurora on 2337 S Blackhawk St, Unit 115C, Aurora, CO 80014.

Dmytro (Dima) Sokulskyi is the owner of this new coffee bar with creative mind and soul, and Colorado Times visited Wake&Take coffee shop last Friday in order to meet him and share his visions on Wake&Take coffee as well as everything else for our readers. Indeed, this new coffee shop in town is already gaining good comments over the taste of their coffee and scenic atmosphere.

This young and confident entrepreneur gladly joined an interview and said he is excited that his newest coffee shop is located near Korean Community, in the city of Aurora. “Believe it or not, many Ukrainians enjoy coffee as much as Koreans too. I hope many Koreans hear news about us and check us out,” said Dima.
Dima moved to Colorado from Ukraine four and half years ago and opened this local coffee shop where it is hard to find rich and flavorful coffee. “It is hard to find some good coffee here,” he started by saying how hard it was for him to find decent coffee at the beginning of his arrival here in Colorado. “We import our coffee from many other countries such as Ethiopia, Guatemala, Columbia, Srilanka, Ukraine, Russia and China,” he specified on where his coffees come from and why it is important for him to offer different tastes of coffees from different nationalities to his customers.

One of Wake&Take coffee shop’ signature coffees is Snickers Coffee. “It is one of the most delightful coffees that anyone can fall for,” said Lia Kim, one of Dima’s baristas. “This signature coffee is a vanilla latte with caramel and chocolate syrup with whipping cream on the top. We sprinkle some pieces of snickers to top it off.” Eva Misevic is Dima’s another barista, and she picked Wake&Take coffee shop’s Caramel Macchiato as her favorite. “I just love it,” she said.
According to Dima, few of their most popular coffees ever since the Grand Opening are Coffee Mocha, Americano and Snickers Coffee. Besides their special coffees, Wake&Take offers customers with wide variety of menus such as Special Teas and Special Drinks. Their special teas include Wild Berries, Herbal Tea and Fruit Tea and their special drinks include Nitro Coffee and Kombucha.
Customers can taste variety of their coffees and pair them with local pastries that they sell at the coffee bar. “We sell pastries such as Danishes, croissants, scones, muffins, and cookies from local Coloradan bakeries. It took us a long time to select best pastries for our customers,” said Dima.

Last but not least, one of the most eye-catching factors inside the Wake&Take coffee shop is definitely their 2nd floor venue. “We are the first coffee shop in whole Colorado that has 2nd floor,” said Dima. As soon as customers walk into the coffee shop, they can see long stairways connected to the second floor. Decorated with Colorado flag and equipped with large capacity to accommodate up to 50 people, Wake&Take coffee shop’s venue provides coffee lovers with utmost privacy and beautiful scenery through the window as well.
Wake&Take coffee shop is open 7 days a week from 7AM to 7PM and is open for private venue rentals such as for private parties, birthday parties, baby showers, book club meetings and etc. Once again, they are located on 2337 S Blackhawk St, Unit 115C, Aurora, CO 80014 and you can reach them by calling (720)999-5448.
