Find Your Own Jack-O’-lantern at the Pumpkin Patch As Well

Still wondering what to do to enjoy Colorado’s fall season?

The Botanic Gardens at Chatfield is celebrating the most colorful season of Colorado with families and friends. Every year, the Denver Botanic Gardens present 7-acre Corn Maze which is perfect for the entire family to explore. Find your way through corn stalks that can be seen from above from the two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. For kids 10 and under, the garden also offers a mini maze.

Only about 10 minutes away by driving from the Downtown Denver, the Chatfield Farms is also a home to historical buildings dating back to the 1800s, 2.5 miles of nature trails and various wildflower gardens. According to the Botanic Gardens, this year’s corn maze promises a dino-mite exploration of prehistoric time. The corn maze is a one trip maze that approximately takes an hour to complete full of turns, twists and dead ends. While trying to find a way out, children can experience Colorado’s fall colors and use their imagination.

This year, Escape Rooms are also available for an additional fee during Corn Maze hours. Step into a pirate ship filled with exciting clues, locks and props used to solve your way out while trying to beat the time. These escape rooms are presented by HD Escape Rooms.

While you enjoy the corn maze, picnic tables are also available on a first-come first-served basis. You may bring your own food or purchase from the food vendors onsite. Food vendors are onsite selling Colorandas’ fall favorites such as corndogs, fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, kettle corn and roasted nuts.

Please keep in mind that tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific time and there are no onsite ticket sales. You can get your tickets through https://catalog.botanicgardens.org/DateSelection.aspx?item=2542. The Chatfield Farms’ Corn Maze is open Fridays-Sundays until October 30th and opens from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors(65+), $11 for children(ages 3-15) and free for children 2 and younger. With the Botanic Gardens membership, the tickets are $2 cheaper each.

Do not forget that the Pumpkin Patch is also accessible during Pumpkin Festival which runs through October 7, 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m..
